Building a system earns it a place on the book. Auditing it earns it the right to stay there. Today was an audit day, and the less glamorous half of the work is exactly where the discipline this Ledger tries to keep actually gets tested.

A dedicated stop-logic audit went through the 52-Week High Breakout system, shipped only yesterday, alongside a pass over the stop behavior of other systems already on the book. This is not a search for a headline number; it is the deliberately unglamorous work of confirming that a stop does what its own rules say it does, trade after trade, before real capital ever has to find out the hard way. A system that has not been audited has not been trusted, it has only been hopeful.

Alongside the audit, the early design of something new took shape: a mechanical pullback system triggered off a defined technical indicator rather than discretion, built in the same spirit as everything else on this book, rules first, judgment second. By the end of the same day it had a first backtest and a first honest set of caveats to go with it, read the early results here. It will earn its permanent place on the book the same way everything else here did: tested, audited, and only then trusted.
