Supervision, everywhere. Every live service in the stack now runs under continuous external supervision. If one stops, or worse, quietly freezes without crashing, it is detected and brought back automatically, and the incident is written to a permanent log. What used to be a silent single point of failure, the kind of outage nobody notices until the damage is already done, is now a system that recovers on its own and tells us exactly what happened, when, and why.

The analytics service, live. On that foundation, the new analytics service is running on its own port, fully supervised, already listening to the real time news stream. It reads every incoming message, sorts it by type, and records all of it from day one, nothing discarded before its importance can be judged. Reconnection and recovery are built into the design, so a dropped connection no longer means lost information. In testing, after a deliberate outage, the service reconnected and automatically recovered the messages it had missed while it was down, and it now measures its own blind time to the second, an honest number, published rather than assumed away.

Not trading yet, by design. The system is not placing any orders. This stage is about evidence, reliability and record keeping, the quiet, unglamorous work that makes everything built on top of it trustworthy. Every observation captured now compounds into the data the next stages will learn from, a model trained on a record with gaps in it inherits those gaps as blind spots it cannot see.

What’s next. The intelligence layer comes next, then execution, each one landing on a base that has already proven it stays up, stays honest, and never loses a thing. That order, foundation before intelligence, intelligence before execution, is not caution for its own sake. It is the same discipline this Ledger applies to every claim it publishes, prove the plumbing works before trusting what flows through it.
